List of Piracies and Robberies reported to this Government

as having occurred outside the jurisdiction of the

Colony from 1st. July to 30th September.

2nd. July, S. S. *Tai On" was fired on from the Banks of the "est

IRA 18 DEC 121 River, 1 mile below the town of Silam in the Slam Channel: 2 passengers were slightly wounded. Only 3 shots were fired on her.

5th. September, British registered lighter "Pokwong" was held up

by Chinese pirates some 5 miles above Wang Moon on the West River.

The steam launch *Kam Kai" towing the lighter was also robbed of money, clothing and food to the extent of $150. The coxswain and

the stoker were taken away by the pirates.
